HOSPITAL DEVELOPMENT IN WONG CHUK HANG

The Council considered memorandum XCR(79)115.
The Council ADVISED and the Governor DECIDED:
(a) under section 3 of the Crown Lands
Resumption Ordinance (Chapter 124),
that the resumption of the lots
listed in paragraph 5 of the
memorandum and shown coloured
orange on the plan at Annex B to
the memorandum is required for a
public purpose; and
(b) that a further memorandum should be
prepared and submitted to the Council
with the detailed terms of grant,
setting out how the proposed hospital
would be run and how the Director of
Medical and Health services would
exercise control over the facilities to
be provided and the fees to be charged.
