NEW NATIONALITY LAW: DEPENDENT TERRITORIES
1.
Please refer to your minute of 17 September asking whether NTD should seek the views of OAGs about consultations in advance of the presentation of a bill to Parliament or whether individual departments should do this for their own Territories.
2.
Since some departments do not need to ask Governors for their views on this matter, we would prefer individual departments to enquire on behalf of their own Territories if they consider it necessary.
