The Government are committed to introducing their new
legislation during the current session of Parliament.
This means that the Parliamentary process must be
virtually complete by July. The timetable is therefore
very tight and there is going to be little time for
further consultations before the draft Bill is published.
In particular, there is no prospect of your being able to
dee'and comment on the draft in advance of its publication.
MIFT contains a summary of the main points likely to
be included in the draft bill that will involve signifi-
cant changes from current legislation.
