h) A British Overseas Citizen who acquires another

citizenship involuntarily at birth shall not be required

to divest himself of it on reaching his majority; but

if when an adult he volunarily acquires another citizen-

ship (including British Citizenship) he shall forfeit

British Overseas Citizenship; and if while he is a

minor he acquires another citizenship he shall be

required to renounce that other citizenship within 2

years of reaching his majority, failing which he shall

lose British Overseas Citizenship.

j) An alien, British Protected Person, British Citizen

or citizen of a Commonwealth country or of the Irish

Republic who is granted British Overseas Citizenship by

naturalisation or registration shall be required to

renounce his existing citizenship; and if he acquires

British Overseas Citizenship in this way while he is a

minor he shall be required to renounce other citizenships

within 2 years of reaching his majority, failing which

his British Overseas Citizenship shall lapse.

(k) Arrangements for renunciation, deprivation and

resumption of British Overseas Citizenship to be

completed when the corresponding provisions for British

Citizenship are settled, together with arrangements for

naturalisation on grounds of Crown Service outside a

dependency_7.
