NATIONALITY LAW REVIEW: BRITISH OVERSEAS CITIZENSHIP
Please refer to your letter NTY/77 360/1318/28 of 12 February and my letter GNN 340/19 of 2 March about your draft paper of 12 February on British Overseas Citizenship.
2. It appears that the Foreign and Commonwealth Office will have some important comments to make upon the draft paper but it will take some time to formulate them and I should be grateful for your views on whether it is worthwhile doing so before the new Parliament has ret and you are able to tell us whether the Home Office views remsir the same.
3. I should, however, like to take this opportunity to propose certain changes in paragraph 8(b) of your Lemorandum relating to Hong Kong since the present wording does not exactly reflect the views of the Hong Kong Government.
