The management has mobilised

! refugees in the camp to clean it up. However, loose

paper, fruit peel, paper bags, rags and food remnants tend to be scattered in open spaces as well as along passageways between dwelling huts. Littex bins are not all provided with proper covers. Eamboo baskeis (which are unsatisfactory) are used for the storage

ofïzefuse pending its removal, though the storage

carea itself is kept reasonably clean.

Surface channels: No proper surface channels have

been constructed inside this centre with the result

that surface water accumulates. This is a point on

which Government action is required.

Toilet facilities: Flushing toilets and baths are

maintained in a reasonably satisfactory state,

5) Reruse disposal.

A daily collection service is

provided by the Urban Services Department and no accumulation of refuse has been noticed. A properly constructed refuse collection point has been provided.
