Conclusion
The refugee problem is of crucial importance to humanity. The world is faced with more refugees today than ever before, and this Executive Committee must do
all in its power to alleviate their plight. These
unfortunate: people deserve all the comfort and help the international community can provide.
My Government
lament the increasingly heavy burden placed upon the High Commissioner and his staff in their challenging task, but
we are confident that they will continue to do their best to respond wherever and whenever the situation
demands.
