The Governor, Sir Murray MacLehose, had useful discussions
with Mr Hartling on 25 June, on increasing UNHCR assistance to Hong Kong.
OBJECTIVES FOR GENEVA MEETING
4. We hope that the international meeting, as well as
mobilizing substantial additional offers of resettlement places
and finance for the Indo-Chinese refugees, will focus world
attention on the behaviour of the Vietnamese Government.
