1. Thank you for pointing out, in your letter CH 3/4821/75 of 8 May, the errors in the brief. They merged in an early draft and were unfortunately not eliminated during extensive shocking by a number of departner Though you say they are comparatively minor, we regret them.

The section of the brief on the official Vietnamese role was, of course, based your telegram 317.
