I enclose a copy of a further letter to the Prime Minister (of which your Secretary of State will, I think, also have received a copy) from Lord Inverforth of the Bank Line about the Vietnamese refugees on board the m.v. Roach Bank.
I should be grateful for urgent advice on how the Prime Minister might respond to It would Lord Inverforth's latest letter. be helpful if this could reach me not later than noon on Friday, 8 June, cleared with other Departments as necessary.
I am sending copies of this letter and enclosure to Stephen Wall (FCO), John Chilcot (Home Office) and Martin Vile (Cabinet Office).
