CHRISTIAN CONFERENCE OF ASIA
Mr. Tumiwa is responsible for promoting links between the
Churches in Vietnam/Laos and the Churches in the rest of
Asia, for interpreting events in Indo-China for the benefit
of both the Churches in Asia and world-wide, and for
negotiating the projects in Vietnam/Laos which are being
funded through the Indo-Chinese Consortium (of which Christian
Aid is a member). He makes frequent visits to Vietnam and
Laos, and did, in fact, work in Laos for many years up to
1975.

If you are unable to come to this meeting, there is another
opportunity of hearing Mr. Tumiwa on TUESDAY 12 JUNE 1979
when CHRISTIAN AID are organising a meeting for him.
This
will be from 1.00 - 2.00 p.m. in the MEETING ROOM, CHRISTIAN
AID HEADQUARTERS, 240 Ferndale Road, London SW9. (A few
minutes walk from Brixton Underground Station).
