1. At the end of the discussion on the Question put down by Lord Harris in the House of Lords on 31 January, Lord Goronwy-Roberts undertook to send to Sir Murray MacLehose a copy of what had been said in the House. Lord Goronwy-Roberts may also like to use this opportunity to send the Governor a copy of his winding-up speech in the debate on 14 February and to assure him of our general support for the policies that the Hong Kong Government have been pursuing on the refugees question.
