INDO-CHINESE REFUGEES OTHER THAN BOAT PEOPLE Admission of Indo-Chinese refugees with "special connections" with Britain has continued at a trickle. The few that have arrived since November are all Laotians who have been sponsored by their relatives in the UK and BCAR involvement has so far only been in meeting them at the airport. However, on 26 January an extended family of nineteen Vietnamese are due to arrive. Their relatives whom BCAR resettled in Portsmouth are not in the position to house them and we have therefore used an offer which was originally made for "Boat People" to house them initially in a hostel in Brighton with subsequent resettlement in Horsham into newly built houses.
