1. I understand that the Lord President's Office have
asked for a defensive speaking note in case the question of a debate on Vietnamese refugees in Hong Kong should be raised again this afternoon. I attach a short speak ing note. It seems unlikely that Mr Jack Ashley MP will revert to the question of the refugees on the "Huey Fong", now that they have been allowed to land in Hong
Kong.
