it is desirable to give some emphasis to education in geriatric medicine

have agreed that training in geriatric medicine should be provided

at both the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. The Government

will encourage a greater interest in this field amongst its own

staff by providing overseas training in geriatric medicine.
