On 19 March, Mr Quantrill submitted draft replies and a background note to four PQs tabled by Mr Robert Parry MP (Labour Liverpool, Scotland Exchange) for writen answer on 20 March.
2. In paragraph 2 of the submission, Mr Quantrill explained that the information requested in Question 4 was being compiled in Hong Kong and would be sent to us by bag; in his reply Mr Luard said that the Secretary of State would arrange for the information to be published in the official report as soon as it was available.
I now submit draft tables providing the requested information for publication in the official report: these have been compiled from detailed information provided by Hong Kong.
