of the recommendations of the orking Croup would have implications for the Civil ́ervice in that existing naternity benefits would have to be proved if the Covernment was to abide by the spirit of the law for the private sector, the orking Group discussed its recommendations with representatives of the ecretary for the Civil Service. The latter generally supported the 'orking Group's recommendations and identified certain possible chanres to the
