years from the commission of
the offence; and
(b) any other offence under these
regulations may be instituted
within 2 years from the
commission of the offence."

11. Regulation 22 of the principal regulations is
revoked.
Amendment of regulation
25.
12. Regulation 25 of the principal regulations is
amended by deleting paragraph (d) and substituting the
following

(d) any person who -
(i) is a bona fide traveller in transit
through Hong Kong:
(ii)
satisfied the Commissioner, or in
respect of whom the Commissioner is
satisfied, that he does not intend to
remain in Hong Kong for more than 180
days or such longer period as the
Commissioner may approve; or
