However it is agreed that the original wording goes further than is required. Since all the additional particulars are related to data required for the purposes of registration, it is now proposed that the wording of regulation 4(1)(c)(xii) should be changed to reflect this. It is therefore proposed that the regulation should read:

"(xii) such further particulars relating to any of

the particulars furnished under this sub- paragraph as the registration officer or any person authorised in writing by the

Commissioner for the purpose may consider necessary,

and shall acknowledge the correctness of the contents of the particulars by signing in such place in the form as may be indicated.

Members will be asked to advise whether the Registration of Persons (Amendment) (No 2) Regulations 1979 (as modified in paragraph 6 above) should be made.
