CHILD LABOUR IN HONG KONG
The
1. You will recall that Mr Robert Parry MP put down a number of Parliamentary Questions on child labour in Hong Kong. information which you supplied (your telegrams Nos 1035 and 1036) was, if I may say, most timely and useful.
13 2. You will be interested to know that Mr Parry's Questions were most probably stimulated by a recent report on "Child Labour in Hong Kong" prepared by the Anti-Slavery Society for the Protection of Human Rights. I enclose a copy of the report together with an analysis prepared by the Overseas Labour Adviser. Your comments on it would be greatly appreciated.
