The only British airline that has declared an intention to venture into transPacific services in the near future is Laker Airways. They plan to operate between Los Angeles and Hong Kong as part of a "round the world service #1
from London via Los Angeles
and Hong Kong to London, on a daily basis in both directions. It therefore appears that our best opportunity of getting the dormant transPacific rights utilised is to bring Laker Airways on to the London-Hong Kong route.
