THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA RELATING TO CIVIL AIR TRANSPORT

The Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of the People's Republic of China, being parties to the Convention on International Civil Aviation opened for signature at Chicago on the seventh day of December, 1944, with a view to facilitating friendly contacts between the peoples of the United Kingdom and China, developing mutual relations between the two countries in respect of air transportation and establishing and operating scheduled air services between and beyond their respective territories, in accordance with the principles of mutual respect for independence and sovereignty, non-interference in each other's internal affairs, equality and mutual benefit as well as friendly cooperation.
