Tokyo with the exercise of full fifth freedom rights to both points.

(i) From 1 January 1980 MAS may operate 7 x A300B services per

week between Peninsular Malaysia and Hong Kong on Malaysia Route 2 and

of these services five per week may proceed beyond Hong Kong to

Taipeh and Tokyo with the exercise of full fifth freedom traffic

rights to both points.

· (iv) From 1 November 1980 the services under (iii) above may be

increased to eight per week subject only to the increase in capacity

being justified by traffic growth in accordance with the formula agreed

under the guidelines (Annex B). The number of such services which can

exercise fifth freedom traffic rights beyond Hong Kong to Taipeh

and Tokyo will remain at five.

(v) CPA may continue until 31 December 1979 to operate 7 x

3707 services per week between Hong Kong and Peninsular Malaysia and

beyond on UK Route 2.

(vi) From 1 January 1980 CPA may operate 7 x L1011 services per

week on UK Route 2 with full fifth freedom traffic rights on all

services. Thereafter CPA may operate additional frequencies between

Hong Kong and Peninsular Malaysia on UK Route 2 equivalent to those

permitted to MAS between Peninsular Malaysia and Hong Kong on

Malaysia Route 2.

(vii) CPA and MAS may each operate 2 x B707 services per week between

Hong Kong and East Malaysia. At any time they may change to L1011s

and A300Bs respectively but they may not offer for sale on such

services more than the number of seats per week that would have been
