1. I have heard unofficially that in Air Niugini's forward planning they are giving consideration to operating a second weekly service to Hong Kong if and when they receive their second Boeing. They would revise schedules so that both flights would operate via Manila with sector Manila-Hong Kong blinded.
Effective date would be sometime
in July.
2. I have not so far received an approach either from Air Niugini or the PNG Government on this matter.
