Amend the Motor Vehicles (First Registration Tax) Ordinance.
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the
advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Motor
Vehicles (First Registration Tax) (Amendment) Ordinance
1979 and shall be deemed to have come into operation
on 1 March 1979.
Amendment
of schedule.
2. The Schedule to the principal Ordinance is
(cap. 330.) amended
(a) by deleting item 1 and substituting the
following
"1. Cars (except cars specified in item 2):
(a) where the value of the car does
does not exceed $20,000
(b) where the value of the car
exceeds $20,000 but does
not exceed $30,000
(c) where the value of the car
exceeds $30,000
