This Ordinance extends various powers of enforcement in the principal Ordinance, which were vested in police officers of or above the rank of Station Sergeant, to police officers of or above the rank of Sergeant. In present circumstances
it is not possible to find enough Station Sergeants to command all police launches.
2. Before the Acting Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, I advised that he could properly do so.
