This Ordinance repesis and replaces; with modificatbu where necessary, thost provisiens of the Herchat. Shipping Ondinenca valeu reinte to the regulation and control of vessels using the veters of thng Kong and the relation and control of ports. A comparative table, showing the sources of most of the provisions of the Ordinance, is annexed.

Section 3

Tart I cocoins the preliminary provisions. provides that this ordinance applies to all vossale within the Varers of Hong Kong, including vessels for the tige being wood by the long long Guvenment, all tarchips and ships for the riva being used by Har Majesty's Govenament or the Government of my. State, except where such application is expressly cluded in respect of certain provisions of this OrdigaNCO,
