Service to

be provided

(2) The Commissioner for Transport reserves the right

to vary at any time the said fares if in his opinion it is fair and reasonable to do so having regard as well to the licensee as to the general public.

1C.

(i) The licensee shall maintain and provide a ferry service for the conveyance of passengers and their luggage between the hours of 6 a.m. and 11.30 p.m. daily, with departure from the ferry points in paragraph 6, in accordance with a Schedule of Service to be approved by the Commissioner for Transport.

(2) The service provided by the said Schedule shall provide for not less than the following departures daily from each of the ferry points or piers -

Shau Kei Wan to Rennie's Mill

Rennie's Mill to Hang Hau

30 departures

4 departures

(3) The ferry service shall start within 3 months of

the award of the licence or such extended period as approved by the Commissioner for Transport.

Non-adherence to timetable

The licensee shall publish a schedule, subject to the approval of the Commissioner for Transport, stating the intended times of departures from every pier point or pier and the fares authorized to be taken and shall exhibit it in a conspicuous situation in every ferry vessel, pier point or pier.

12.

The licensee shall forfeit to the Crown the sum of $25 for each occasion that a ferry vessel is more than fifteen minutes later than the scheduled time of departure from any ferry point or pier, and an additional sum of $25 for each additional period of fifteen minutes after the first such period, if the delay or omission to run the ferry vessel is not due to accident or adverse weather: provided that, unless in the opinion of the Commissioner for Transport such delay or omission to run is wilful, the total penalty for cach default shall not exceed $250.
