Piers and Ferry berths
6.
(1) The licensee shall, to the catisfaction of the
Director of Public Works, provide at his own expense landing
facilities at Shau Kei Wan and if so required by the Director
of Public Works to demolish or transfer the landing (and
associated structures) to government free of charge on expiry
of the licence.
(2) The licensee shall make use of, for the purpose of
the ferry service, the following ferry points :

The licensee shall be responsible for the maintenance and
repair to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works of those
landings of which he has exclusive use. He shall also be responsible
for any damage caused by his veesels to pier(s) of which he has non-
exclusive use and pay to Government on demand any sum which the
Director of Public Works shall certify to be the cost of repair to
any accidental damage caused by his vessels.

Should the Commissioner for Transport decide at any time
during the subsistence of the licence, whether at the request of the
licensee or of his own volition, to assign other ferry points or
piers, or localities or frontages, for the use of a ferry in addition
to or substitution for thos hereinbefore specified, the licensee
shall be bound to include such points or piers in his service and to
accept such localities or frontages, on terms to be agreed upon or
failing agreement to be determined by arbitration under the provisions
of the Ferries Regulations.
96 (1) The fares to be charged for each journey between any two
ferry points shall be as follows:
Each Passenger: Not exceeding $1.00
General Cargo : Not exceeding 50 cents (per piece or

feet)
