The licensee hereby assures the Government
of Hong Kong that at all times (including any and
every emergency) the ferry service shall be duly and
loyally maintained and that this assurance shall be
observed by the licensee with the utmost good faith
and shall be the basis of this licence and, if it
shall any time appear to the Commissioner for
Transport that this assurance has failed, then the
Commissioner for Transport may forthwith cancel
this licence and thereupon all the powers and
privileges of the licensee under this licence shall
cease and terminate and the ferry service shall be
deemed to have been discontinued by the licensee.

assignable
This licence is personal to the licensee and
shall not be assigned or transferred by him or his
perzonal representatives by power of Attorney or
otherwise without the permission of the Commissioner
for Transport.
Ferry vessels
4.
(1) The licensee shall provide at all
times an adequate number of ferry vessels to the
satisfaction of the Commissioner for Transport to
provide an efficient service in accordance with the
terms of paragraph 10.
(2) No ferry vessel shall be used on the
ferry service until such vessel has been approved
