LICENCE is hereby granted by the Col nial Secretary of the Colony er Hong Kong, with the previous approval of the
Governor in Council, to

The licensee shall reside within and shall continue to reside within the Colony during the continuance of this licence.

The licensee hereby assures the Government of Hong Kong that at all times (including any and every emergency) the ferry service shall be duly and loyally maintained and that this assurance shall be observed by the licensee with the utmost good faith and shall be the basis of this licence and, if it shall any time appear to the Governor in Council that this assurance has failed, then the Governor in Council may forthwith cancel this licence and thereupon all the powers and privileges of the licences unter this licence shall cease and terminate and the ferry service shall be deemed to have been discontinued by the
licensed.

This licence is personal to the licensee and shall not be assigned or transferred by him or his personal representatives without the permission of the Governor in Council.
