The District Officer Sai Kung has explained the position to the villagers of Che Keng Tuk and Ta Ho Tun and is of the view that if the proposed lease is granted there is unlikely to be further general objection from them.
Advice sought

Honourable Members will be asked to advise, under section 5(3) (a) of the Foreshores and Sea Bed Ordinance (Chapter 127), whether it is expedient that the proposed lease of the area of foreshore and sea bed edged pink on the plan at Annex A should be granted to the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club.
(The District Officer, Sai Kung (Mr C.S.T. BOSHER) will attend before the Council for the discussion of this item).
