The points made by Mr. LAM are the general ones made by those who were to be cleared, and it was after careful consideration of these that

Government decided on its policy for the clearance. Mr. LAM has collected his compensation and

re-established his business elsewhere in the market.

Mr. STU Suen-sing

Mr. SIU has collected his compensation but has not re-established his business. It has not been

possible to refund Mr. SIU's licence money, but I should point out that he was fully aware of the 16th June clearance date when he took out a 12-month licence on 12th May.

Mr. LAM Yuk-tai

Mr. LAM has collected his compensation and is operating his business from a new stall.

Mr. WONG Pak-ho

Mr. WONG's compensation was reassessed at $16,537.50. This has been collected and he is operating on other premises which he has held for many years.

Mr. TSE Kwai-tsit

Mr. TSE has collected his compensation and is operating his business on other premises.

Mr. PANG Sing-kei

Mr. PANG has collected his compensation and has opened a new restaurant in Tai Wai.

Miss HUNG Siu-chun

Miss HUNG has collected her compensation but has not yet resumed business.
