Mr. NG Kei-man

Mr. NG successfully tendered for a shop in Lek Yuen Estate, which he immediately assigned to another person. He is operating his tailoring business from a mobile stall. He was not offered re-housing as he lived elsewhere in Sha Tin and not in clearance area but only had his place of business there.

Mr. LAM Mou-sang

Mr. LAM's case does not arise from the Sha Tin Market clearance but from the clearance of part of Ha Wo Che. Mr. LAM was not registered as a factory operator in that area but his wife had an interest in a knitting factory. She is now operating this business in the Housing Department Kowloon Bay Flatted Factory.

Mr. SIT Luk

Mr. SIT has collected his compensation and has re-established his business elsewhere in the market.

Madam CHAN Wai-juig

The correct amount of compensation due to Madam CHAN was $9,337.50, but due to a clerical error she was told she would receive $16,000. When the mistake was discovered this was explained by District Office staff to Madam CHAN. She has now collected the money but has not continued in business.
