The Corporation shall consult the
Commissioner for Transport when arranging the
hours of operation of the railway for the public
conveyance of passengers.

railway in a clean and sanitary state to minimise
the risk of fire and infestation by vermin.
Rescue and
breakdown
equipment
2.7.(a) The Corporation shall provide adequate
vehicles and equipment for the safe and speedy.
recovery of defective trains and equipment and
for the rescue of passengers.
(b) The Corporation shall, as far as is
reasonably practicable, ensure that such vehicles
and equipment are at all times maintained in an
efficient working condition and manned by persons
trained to carry out the duties assigned to them
and that such persons remain competent at all
times.
