DOMESTI ROOFTOP STRUCTURES THE OCCUPANTS OF WHICH ARE BEING OFFERED SPACE IN A TEMPORARY HOUSING AREA. THE MAJORITY ARE EXPECTED TO ACCEPT BUT SOME FLAT OWNERS WHO HAVE BEEN LIVING IN THESE STRUCTURES, HAVING LET THEIR FLATS, CONTINUE TO DEMAND PUBLIC HOUSING.
B. THERE ARE 50 SHOPS/WORKSHOPS OF WHICH ONLY 10 ARE OWNER- OCCUPIERS. SEVEN OF THE OWNER/OCCUPIERS HAVE ALREADY ACCEPTED COMPENSATION. ONLY THREE OF THE ABSENTEE OWNERS HAVE SO FAR ACCEPTED COMPENSATION, BUT IT IS EXPECTED THAT THEIR TENANTS WILL MOVE OUT BEFORE THE END OF JULY.

4. DISCUSSIONS ARE CONTINUING WITH THOSE WHO HAVE NOT YET ACCEPTED OUR TERMS. IT IS INTENDED TO POST CLEARANCE NOTICES ON 16 JULY ON ALL PREMISES WHICH THEN REMAIN OCCUPIED GIVING THE OCCUPANTS TWO WEEKS IN WHICH TO VACATE THE PREMISES. WHETHER THE 19 HARD CORE DOMESTIC OWNERS WILL ACCEPT OUR TERMS IS NOT
CERTAIN BUT THERE ARE SIGNS THAT THE OTHERS WILL ACCPED WHAT HAS
BEEN OFFERED. WE ARE CONTINUING TO WEAR AWAY AT THE PROBLEMS AND REDUCE THEM AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE BEFORE THE ACTUAL FINAL CLEARANCE TAKES PLACE.
