Thank you for sending us a copy of your letter of 4 June to Bryan Cartledge about Sir Murray MacLehose's visit in mid-June.
The Home Secretary would very much like to see him in person and perhaps you could bear this in mind when arrangements for meetings are being made. I am sure that the Minister of State in the Home Office primarily concerned, Mr. Timothy Raison, would also wish to see him, possibly for a more extended meeting.
