Having at last returned here and got my

breath, I am writing to thank you for an extremely
pleasant lunch in London.
It was fun to meet you again, in your old job, and in such pleasant company and surroundings. Thank you very much indeed.
I don't know what your plans are, but I think you must realise that if you did manage to fit in a visit to Hong Kong everyone would be delighted and there would be a very warm welcome for you.
Secretary for State's visit was a tour de force. How anyone could fit in so much so cheerfully and handle it all so well in such a short space of time left me flabbergasted. But in that time he made the best impression that anyone has done in Hong Kong for a very long time.
