The Governor agrees to see Mr Pym at 17.30 on 10 January. He asked particularly that an appointment be made for him to see General Brammall at some time before that since he believes that this would make the subsequent interview go more smoothly. I have arranged with General Brammall's office for the Governor to see him at 16.30 on Wednesday, 9 January.
2.
The Governor agreed that he should see the Secretary of State for Trade. Would Mr Williamson please make a date, probably on 9 January, and ensure that Mr Bray and the Governor are informed of all these additional appointments.
3. The Governor asked that he could be given motor: transport from the Office to Mr Cortazzi's Club for lunch on 11 January. Would you please arrange this and ensure that Mr Cortazzi knows that the Governor does not want to walk to lunch.
