THE GOVERNOR'S VISIT TO CHINA
I am enclosing three further documents to complete the record on the Governor's visit: -
2.
(1) the finalised version of the record of
discussions in Quangdong on 26 March (you already have the draft);
(ii) the verbatim text of the questions and
answers du: ing the Jovernor's press conference on 6 april (you will have seen the full text of his opening statement in Hong Kong telno 445); and
(iii)
the speech given by the Governor at lung Hom Kailway station on his arrival on 4 April).
Thank you very much for all the help you gave us during our visit to Peking and for all the preparatory work you had done before it. Considering the difficulty of arranging these sorts of visits, I thought it went remarkably well.
