1. I attach a consolidated summary of the discussions at last month's seminar, written by Mr Duff (Sessions 2 and 4, and part of 5) and myself (Sessions 1 and 3, and the rest of 5) with a substantial contribution by Professor Robinson, who re-wrote the introduction to Session 4.
2. I also attach a draft of a covering report on the seminar which you may wish to send to Mr Ridley. This has been pre- pared in consultation with Mr Duff.
