Thank you for your letter of 19 Junie about the proposed seminar on the future of the remaining Dependent Territories to be held at Falmer in September.

I will of course be very pleased to participate

in the seminar.

As to suggesting names of others who might be invited to participate, the first name which occurs to me (and may well have occurred to you) is that of Sir Bruce Great batch. His experience of the problems before the seminar is probably second to none and he could be relied upon to make a lively contribution to the discussions. Otherwise, I can only suggest that, if you have not already done so, you might ask Bermuda to suggest the name of an unofficial who may be in the UK at the time. I happen to know that Sir Jack Sharpe will be in the UK this summer but more likely to be here in August than September however there is almost certainly bound to be some other suitable unofficial from Bermuda here at or about the right time and I do think that Bermuda, although it has special problems, is a good example of the dilemma which faces at least a few of the remaining Dependent Territories.
