SEMINAR ON THE FUTURE OF BRITISH DEPENDENT TERRITORIES
Thank you for your letter of 3 July about our proposed seminar on the future of British Dependent Territories.
We had been advised that your interests made you a natural
candidate for this seminar but our academic intelligence is clearly not as good as it should be! As we have more acceptances than we had anticipated I hope you will not mind if we leave you out of the final list.
It was good of you to suggest your colleague, Professor Livingstone. We will certainly bear him in mind but at present it looks as though we will not need to call on him.
