have therefore all been members of the Diplomatic Service. have been assuming that the prescription is basically unchanged and that Mr Parker's replacement should also be a Diplomatic Service officer, particularly now that an HMOCS officer has been appointed as Chief Secretary. It would be helpful to know if this assumption is correct. Does the decision to restore Ambassadorial relations between Britain and Argentina make any difference?
