GOVERNORSHIPS
1.
The next meeting of the Dependent Territories Senior Appointments Board will be on 4 June next and the Board will consider the following vacancies:-
(i) Governor, Belize:
(ii) Governor, Falklands:
(iii) Governor, Montserrat:
Currently filled by a DS officer on secondment
Currently filled by a DS officer on secondment
Salary: EC$ 21,600 (£3,913);
Duty Allowance: EC$ 5,712 (1,035); plus topping up - £6,408
2. All these vacancies fall due around the end of this year or the beginning of 1980. The Governorships of Belize and the Falklands equate to DS3/Under Secretary and that of Montserrat to DS4/Assistant Secretary. I should be grateful if you would let me know the names of any serving officers who should be considered. At the same time, will you please let me have up-to-date confidential reports and curricula vitae. I should be grateful for an early reply, if possible by 25 April. If necessary, perhaps you could telegraph the names in the first instance.
