STEERING BRIEF
1.
Arrangements have to be made:-
(a) to fill three posts:
(i) Governor, Belize:

(ii) Governor, Falkland Islands:
December 1979;
(iii) Governor, Montserrat:
January 1980;
2.
(b) to extend the terms of office of three Governors:
(iv) Governor, Belize (until the appointment at,(i)); is mate. Patie (v) Governor, Cayman Islands;
(vi) Governor, St Helena;
(c) to advise the Board of a change in the length of
term-of:
(vii) Governor, Bermuda .
The Governorships of Belize and the Falkland Islands are
at the level of Diplomatic Service Grade 3 or equivalent.
Those of Montserrat, Cayman Islands and St Helena are at
Diplomatic Service Grade 4 or equivalent.
To fill the posts listed at 1(a) al ove, the following
officers are nominated as being most suitable:
