Thank you for your letter of 23 July, in which you conveyed the Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary's proposals for appointments to the Governorships of Belize, the Falkland Islands and Montserrat.

Mr. J. P. I. Hennessy, Mr. R. M. Hunt and Mr. D. K. H. Dale should be submitted to
The Queen as candidates for these Governorships, for Her approval.
