BRIEF
1.
On behalf of 400 Shorthand-Audio Typists employed by the Hong Kong
Government, we have come to the United Kingdom to enlist support in
our long campaign against unfair and discriminatory treatment.
2. When our grade first created in 1965, the Hong Kong Government
taking into account of the special requirements for shorthand and
typing skills, offered our salary which was 5 points above than a
Clerical Officer Class II and III at entry and parallel to Clerical
Officer Class II and III in maximum.
