HONG KONG: HOUSE OF LORDS QUESTION: LORD BROCKWAY
1. I submit a draft answer, together with a background note and supplementaries, to the starred Oral Question put down by
Lord Brockway for answer on 30 January on the dispute between the Hong Kong Government and the Shorthand and Audio-Typists' Association.
2. Lord Brockway, who is not generally sympathetic to the Govern- ment of Hong Kong, tabled two Questions in 1976 on child labour in the Colony.
3.
The draft answer, which takes into account information Flag A provided by the Hong Kong Government, has been agreed with the OLA.
