Dear Goronwy,
I was rather disappointed in the enclosed answer to my P.Q. about the audio-typists dispute with the Hong Kong Government, and I enclose further letter from the ladies concerned.
My impression from our previous corres- pondence was that the Government was inclined to appoint an independent arbitrator, and I am dis- appointed that this action has not been taken.
The industrial relations record of Hong Kong is not such that they can afford to appear to be high-handed with their own staff.
